SCARIFICATION

Service Description

Scarification is a lawn maintenance technique that involves scraping the soil surface to remove the thatch layer (accumulation of organic matter, dead roots, and plant debris) that prevents proper circulation of air, water, and nutrients.

It is performed with a scarifier or special rake, creating small grooves in the soil to improve aeration and stimulate the growth of new roots. It is recommended to do it in spring or fall when the grass is in active growth, and to complement it with topdressing and fertilization for optimal recovery.
